Meryem recently obtained a Master in Computer Science from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Swizerland. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Al Akhawayn University (AUI) in Morocco.

She worked on multiple projects both in academia and industry not only in the domain of natural language processing and machine learning but also software engineering mainly database backend management , web and android development and has worked as teaching assistant for numerous undegraduate computer science courses. Her recent industrial experience include her master thesis project done in Swisscom Digital Lab in EPFL Innovation Park in Lausanne, Switzerland and her internship on Goal Oriented Dialog systems using deep learning in Sony European Technology Center in Stuttgart, Germany.
